WATER BORES FOR SIX VILLAGES

The World of Difference team is excited to announce that it is supporting a project to provide drinking water to about 5000 people in six remote villages in Cambodia.

District 9800 Rotary Club of Chadstone East Malvern in a consortium team with the Rotary Clubs of Upper Northern Beaches (Sydney) and Paddington (Brisbane) are implementing a project to provide 60 water bores in the six villages. The consortium has a successful track record after providing 30 water bores, 25 toilets and 3 water filters to four other Cambodian villages in 2020.

The budget for this project will be about $A145,000/($US110,000).
The consortium intends to seek Global Grant support from the Rotary Foundation.
